Does any one like me think that the price of movie seats are weird.
Way back if you paid more you got an usher to take you to a better seat.
Now days discout seats, top charges all go in and sit on same/simular seats.I think it has become odd..

Its no wonder people download movies these days! With the price of living going up an average family struggle to have the $ to do much anymore! I remember going to the movies all the time, i would take $50 and after the ticket popcorn a drink and lollies i would still have $20 left now im lucky to even go because i just cant afford it! Usually wait to hire it at movie store for fraction of the price

I'm in a small town and prices are very reasonable compared to city prices, though the screens are smaller. Snacks are not too bad, and are cheaper than the city again. More than at the supermarket, but we don't mind paying the extra to help keep the cinema going.

Discount Tuesdays here mean we can afford to go to the cinema more often, too.

I took my 8 year old daughter to the movies yesterday and we paid NZ$33 for the two of us, and that didn't include food. We had to go to the 3D movie because the 2D movie times didn't suit us, so that made it more expensive. It is so expensive to take the family these days.

You need to go to readings at the palms in christchurch seats are $8.50 and $11.

But icecream and drink prices etc are expensive for what you get.

Cheaper to go top the mall supermarket before you go in.
