Greens vs Labor vs Australia
What are your thoughts on the latest spat between the Greens and Labor?
Will this bring about a early election?
This is a good thing for Australia! Greens: Carbon Tax, Gay marriage, ILLEGAL Boat people

Labour has made its thoughts clear and there is no respect for Labour for the Greens and no respect by the Greens for Labour. They may use each other to top up votes. The Carbon tax has not brought any joy to Australia when most other Countries are not joining in, Gay marriage is currently under scrutiny and in spit of sympathy for the boat people it is an item that needs serious over-seeing.

I think the Greens should not be in the Senate or other roles as they do not contribute in a meaningful way. The Greens started out as bedfellows to Labour in the last election and their views varied along the way which did not lead to a meaningful team. I do not think they are powerful enough to bring on an early election

I remember reading some time back where a prominent person in green peace claimed that since the fall of the Berlin wall, many green/environmental enities were hijacked by left wing socialist activists. Some of the Greens policies point to the fact that there might be some truth to this comment.

First and foremost Australia is a democracy, with elections every 3 years.

Gillard had to form an allegiance with the Independants and Greens to form government. Although I argue that Gillard is in the socialist mould, she would have realised by now that the majority of Australians reject the hard line socialist approach. If she wants to have any chance to win the next election, she has to soften her policy stance. My opinion, the Greens see this as weak so now we see both parties walking this tightrope taking pot shots at each other.

Will this bring on an early election, no I doubt it. They both need each other, but I doubt Labor will ever entertain an alliegence with the Green ever again.

Iam not sure what you mean in your last comment. The greens are not good for Australia, I don't entirely agree with the carbon tax, gay marriages are fine and illegal boat people should be processed prior to coming to Australia, if not you take the risk of allowing the wrong kind of persons into Australia.
