i'm no expert, just your usual 18 year old girl..
but maybe as well as just disciplining her and not going back on your word, has she got a bestfriend?
Attention is what all kids want & some take it to ridiculous levels to get it.
My mothers ill and has been for a long time.. So i've raised my 2 year old sister who constanly wants attention, my 6 year old brother who's necessarily a good kid, but loud & very jealous. As well as my 8 year old sister, whos mature & smart for her age but has a terrible attutide it drives me crazy.. being a kid myself and having to take on the responsabilties of rasing 1, then 2 then 3!
has let me learn & experience alot and it was easier to relate to them and know what they wanted ( and still is ). We have a very close relationship, i make them use manners before i give them things, tell them no friends over until there rooms clean, & i take them places (park, shops, walks) IF they act on there best behavouir in the times we are out.
Shes a kid, lifes ment to be an adventure... she needs a good friend, trips out and about, rewarded if she behaves. Make her say thankyou & please.
She's still a babygirl darling who cares if you look stupid be a kidd with her!! (:

First off you need to talk to her try and figure out what is making her angry if she isn't willing to talk to you then you should let her see a counselor. some times kids find it easier to talk to someone else.
Think about when she started behaving like this was there any big changes in her life?
Kids will act out if they feel left out or they don't feel like they are getting alot of love. It's important to not give up always let her know how much you love her.

You could also see a doctor maybe she might be in the process of getting her period i know of alot of girls where there hormones were all over the place mixing up there emotions.
It's very important that you find out what is making her angry now because it can lead to so much more in the future.

Most anger stems from within. I was an angry child and lashed out so that no one got close. Anger can quite often be projected outwards as you always hurt those closest to you
I was taught a very important message and it still rings true today when Im feeling stressed or angry... Take a mirror and look deep into it. If you can't find anything that you like, then just keep on looking til you do.
It's designed to shift your perception of things. Sort of a "glass half full" way of looking. Also looking at what you can do to change yourself, only for you

i would need more info but based on your post, 1st. is this recent or happening for some time? if so how long e, n wat was happening at that stage. communicqtion is imperitive but so is decipline. reward the good. punish for the opposite by taking away wats meaningful . never ever go back on your word! ever......
