Campbell Newman and the Queensland elections

Queenslanders will soon have to go to the polls again and what promised to be a change of state government in Queensland with Campbell Newman as premier is rapidly turning into a fiasco. Campbell Newman did a good job as Lord Mayor before he decided to run for state politics but now he is at risk of not winning the seat of Ashgrove due to some stiff opposition from the sitting ALP member. This would go directly against the will of the majority of Qld residents who would have preferred a change in leadership so I am wondering why is it absolutely necessary for him to win the Ashgrove seat to become Premier?

For those in the know - ie those who worked in the Public Service for many years they could tell those who don't know that the Labour government gave heaps of jobs to the boys and they sat at desks and did nothing for years. We need to get rid of those no work hangers on and that is just what Campbell Newman is doing

Here it is, September....and I think a lot of the swinging voters wished they had not given this clown the huge majority he has. !4,000 jobs min down the gurgler by next year, massive over development of Gold Coast by his Lib mate Mayor Tom Tit.
In our electorate we lost a great rep always available and busy working for us, she was replaced by a tizzy woman who refers to many of her constituents on Twitter as basically 'loser rabble' I have never heard any thing about her before the election...perhaps she is ...'rent a rep' material.
