soldier kills 16 women and children WAR

an american soldierhas gone on a rampage in afghganastan,killing 16 civillians,he had only been there a few days and was a senior ranking soldier.what if any punishment should be handed out.should the military take any responsibility over this matter

na give him to the afghganastan's for them to sort him out he killed their people for no reason .

i am on your side,the world is out of hand,let people fight there own battle.the unfortunate thing is women and children are dying for no reason.soldiers are paid to defend there country,but once they start killing there own.what do we do.the soldier above should be charged with murder and court marshalled.if found guilty jailed or as you mentioned detained in a mental institution.
so far 2000 us troops have been killed in this mindless country.if we go back to vietnam 58000 american troopswere killed there

Yes---even though he seemly premidated this act,he should be interred directly
into a psych ward, if not charged with murder.
