I support the Cancer Society and the Cancer Foundation in New Zealand because there is a very strong history of bowel cancers in my family that includes 4 generations on both my Maternal and Paternal sides. I believe that there is not enough publicity or support for those who suffer from this condition. Many of the other types of cancer are more publicised while bowel cancer is very much a 'hidden' condition that it is much harder to diagnose despite one's family background. I think that the Cancer foundation does sterling work and that the Cancer Society does it's best to support those in need.
