Just one of my first proper long surveys today. you need to update your profile and join the cafestudy communities to get more surveys i think.

Same here, I have not had any surveys since the beginning of April. Is this normal?

i have had only a couple to do. i dont think the owners of cafestudy are actively seeking surveys for us to do. as with many sites they want us to do everything for them

Supplimentary.
I forgot to mention that my only real worry about these surveys is, WILL WE REALLY get paid? I belong to several other surveys, Your Voice, Nielsen, SMILE CITY, to name a few, and ONLY Smile city has given me a Pay Out. Mind you, it took ages to get $200. I have ben with the others for a lot longer, and haven't had a thing.
The BIG LURE of these surveys is, they tell us in their promotions to get our attention, GET PAID TO DO SURVEYS, EARN BIG MONEY DOING SURVEYS, etc. Mostly, we are told at the end of these surveys that we have been put into a draw for a certain amount of money, and I KNOW we'll never get it.
There is one that tells us we CAN get $15,000., but, that, too, is a draw, just for joining them.
I've had a survey offer from some wanker called Paul Myers who says we can EARN THIOUSAND of Dollars per month just by doing surveys. The catch? When you apply to join, you have to PAY HIM $47. for a 30 day "money back trial period." RIP OFF!
Being unemployed is bloody hard, where I live, and I am literally down to my last $25. TOTAL in my bank, and that's BAD. I am still looking for a survey or some site that will help me try and earn some real CA$H to help me get through the weeks.
When we eventually start getting surveys from Cafe Study, I hope they really DO Pay US Fairly. Otherwise, all we've really done is just joined another Social Site.

All well and good but it is making me feel less sociable by the minute.

My best site is Pure Profile, Mentioning this may be against the rules, I am not sure.

Hi Folks,
I, too, am rather anxious about not getting any surveys yet, but, I think they are just getting to know us from our Blogs to our new friends.
From what I've read, we take part in the various subjects of discussion, on the subjects we are interested in, and if we show enough knowledge of what we're discussing, we will be invited to take part in surveys related to those subjects.
If I am right, perhaps AMANDA 6393 will confirm this. However, in the mean time, I am quite enjoying adding comments to the various subjects I have shared dicussions with. Mostly, so far, in the Food and Drink Department..
If you like having friendly discussions, like I do, stick with it! Give it the benefit of the doubt, and for now, just enjoy the company of some very nice people who write in. I really like this site! Its very friendly and full of very interesting subjects to discuss.

When I first signed up ages ago I used to get heaps of Surveys but since I notified them of a change of Email Address have not gotten a single one. All I get is Newsletters and replies to discussions I have participated in. I too am wondering why as after I redeemed a reward as I had enough points, have only had 1 survey since then. I hope they start sending them soon as I am seriously thinking of unsubscribing if they don't. The discussions are great but it would be nice to be able to earn points as well.

Hi,

I have also been signed up for several months and not received any surveys. I'm not sure whether you get points for contributing to the forums also? There doesn't seem to be a section on this site which explains how the point system works. Can anyone explain how you build upt points on this site?

Thanks :)

You only get points if you do surveys. You don't earn any for participating in discussions. It would be nice if you could though. They notify you when you have enough points to redeem a reward but you will need to do surveys to get them..Not sure why they aren't sending any out.
