Next year there will be a stricter criteria for Adult Education in South Australia. I wonder if there are people out there who believe, like I do, that this is unfair. As a mature age student I have gained confidence, found a reason to get up in the morning, and hopefully stopped by brain turning to mush, due to the abilitly that was afforded me to study and learn over previous years. I don't believe I am capable of completing SACE, but still feel like I had so much more that I could have gained by studying, even if it were not a SACE certificate. I think this is so unjust, where to now, I know I just sit it my house, look at the walls, and let my brain disintegrate! I don't think this is right!

Yes, my 19yo son is currently doing SACE at an adult education facility but it is being shut down next year.
On the other hand I just enrolled in Open Universities www.open.edu.au for a Bachelor of Behavioural Science. It's all on line, with feehelp will cost me nothing except text books until I'm earning $46,000p.a. and I didn't need any pre-requisites.

Help Caféstudy members by responding to their questions, or ask your own in Café Chat, and you will get the chance of earning extra rewards. Caféstudy will match these and donate equally to our two chosen Australian charities.
