I have owned alot of cats over the years but my Ginger is different. He is 5 years old but has the personality of a long lost friend. He follows me everywhere. One day I got into the car to drive up the road Halfway I realised there was a presence in the back seat. I looked around and there was Ginger just sitting there looking around. He wasn't in a panic, in fact, he was sitting there like royalty. I turned the car around and dropped him back home. I love him with all my heart. My husband says to me he is a long lost love reincarnated.

I am experiencing the joys of a ginger cat for the first time in nearly 50 years of sharing my life with cats. My kitten Bear is the smoochiest little feline I have ever known. He loves to go visiting and wins hearts wherever he goes. He is curled up n my chest as I type this, purring loudly. I am a total convert to gingers!

My last cat was a grey Siamese-Abyssinian. He was more like a dog than a cat and he loved me and my husband completely. We had him for 19 years and though its been at least 5 years since he's been gone, I miss him every day. Pets give unconditional love and never criticise and they always have little quirks that make you laugh. Thanks for the lovely tale.

We too have a ginger cat his name is Cosmo and has ultimate attitude !!!!! and is 7years old , he love's to hide in the long grasses and wait's till our border collie walks past then it's game on ! it's the only time he's really brave around the dog lol the other weird thing he doe's is when my hubby just has sock's on he wiggle's his foot Cosmo launches himself onto him and sink's his teeth in with my hubby grinding his teeth!!! lol great entertainment !!!!!!!!

We have Catman (to the rescue) and he has the personality of a dog. He plays with the kids and our dog; he rounds up the chooks and is happy to be patted like a dog.

Oh what a wonderful story, thanks for sharing. I've had lots of cats too and at the moment we have a very big long hair grey tabby that is 7y.o. and a rescued RagDoll that is 10 months and I think she is the funniest, she loves to play with anything & everything. I can't imagine my life without a pet in it and get very distressed when animals are mistreated.

How lovely. We have a ginger too, Marmaduke the marmalade cat. He has a lovely nature like your fellow, he rushes to protect the other cats if he thinks they need it. Enjoy him!
