Got in a Mexican stand off at a four way stop signs.
4 of us got there pretty much the same time. 4 of us sitting there looking at each other. 4 of us inching forward. 1 of us finally stuck his head out the car and said "I'll wait...you go first".
Most stupid Road Authority initiative I have ever seen in relation to road signs. What kind of a genius dreamed that one up.
Surely it's not rocket science to figure out which of the cross roads has the least traffic. I know at this intersection, one is a medium density road and the other smaller residental access. Gee, that was hard.
I think perhaps it time to put new bottoms in seats. Then again, it may be a case of better the devil you know.
Cheers, Maria

Either the council nor the Police won't see it as a problem until there is a myriad of accidents at that location and there's a necessity for a change. In an old neighbourhood I think there is a 4-way stop sign and it's the council's/police's way of slowing down the traffic (i.e. Hoons). And for the minority, we all have to sacrifice our sanity.
