Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience of trying to find a good doctor?
My doctor has retired after seeing him for 25 years, I'm struggling to find anyone who is, well a good doctor. Seems to me that they don't have time to listen to what you're telling them, they are on their feet, when I'm still sitting down. The personal service that I've had for 25 years just doesn't exist with the doctors I've been too. They won't do blood tests like my other doctor did every 3 months, if you're going back to see them in a week they don't know why you're there. Just want to give you a script and leave?
Then you have to go back because they've not investigated your symptoms proberly. I mean what sort of doctor if you're there with a cold does not look in your ears or down your throat?
It's going to be a nitemare which I've already discovered, curious if anyone else has the same problem.
Thanks for reading :)

Hi AnxiousOne, apologies for the late reply, I've been really poorly. Which means more trips to the useless doctor. I had a really bad virus & I have a compramised autoimmune problem,as a result of medication I take. Two trips & 6 weeks later, I was finally given some strong antibiotics which is what I needed to help me get rid of it.
You are correct, the surgery does bulk bill & after reading your reply, the penny dropped. As that's the problem, scripts, scripts & more scripts and go away. The doctor knows I have the autoimmune problem, he never even listen to my chest, which was rattling... Anyway the reception staff and not as lovely as the ladies that ring you, to let you know the doctor is running late, that's so sweet.
The reception staff struggle to fax referrals, ring you back with blood test results you need to know so you can take your right medication. They say.. oh I'll ring you back, they never do & they close up and go home! They are unbelievable....
Enough of me ranting, I found another surgery, it has a lady, so that's my next choice. I'll let you know. Thanks again for your reply & apologies for the essay :)
