home brands can be ok, they may be up to the standard of some name brands. although the majority of home brands seem to be a lesser quality and that's why they are generally cheaper, they have lesser quality of ingredients or parts and there for the product is cheaper. a lot of individuals choose the home brands for the price, and will only buy the name brands if know the product works better or is on special. the products people buy either name brand or home brand relate to buying behavior which can relate to heuristic tendencies in consumers, people with these tendencies have in set rules while shopping (buying the cheapest brand, always picking the same product), they will go for certain products, and choose the company/s that offer these services.
