Are there brands that you used to buy that are no longer in your local supermarket? What do you think of all these 'home brands'? Are they just as good as the named brands, are they cheaper, or are you still hankering after something in particular that just seems to have disappeared from the shelves? Give us your opinion.

I buy some things in home brand, they are usually just as good, sometimes not so good, I find at the moment it seems the price between homebrand and name brand is rising and at times there is really no more than a few cents between them, which is pretty sneaky if you ask me as I always thought homebrand was supposed to be way cheaper.
