Are there brands that you used to buy that are no longer in your local supermarket? What do you think of all these 'home brands'? Are they just as good as the named brands, are they cheaper, or are you still hankering after something in particular that just seems to have disappeared from the shelves? Give us your opinion.

Woolies / Coles homebrand, woolies / coles upmarket homebrand and then search for any other brand that is NOT made overseas! Shopping is a DRAMA.
My concern is once the 'named' brands are eliminated what happens to the prices of the 'home brands'?
At least IGA (first choice) have a selection followed by coles and forget the wilting 'fresh food people'.
I feel that a few extra pennies spent now could save heaps in the future, I just wish others would look at it that way. I know it means that there is not enough to buy a bottle of vino - but I would prefer a non-monopolised future over a glass.

Thanks for letting me on the soap box
