Are there brands that you used to buy that are no longer in your local supermarket? What do you think of all these 'home brands'? Are they just as good as the named brands, are they cheaper, or are you still hankering after something in particular that just seems to have disappeared from the shelves? Give us your opinion.

Some products are quite ok from Home Brand ranges. And then there are the ones that are just awful. I find it annoying when you have been buying an item for years and suddenly it is not available at the store, or only stocked intermittently. You find the they have brought out a similar generic item but it is just not the same quality. In the end you just stop buying the product and it becomes a "Treat" when you do see it again. It would be nice if the supermarkets would consider giving us a choice and not try to force their home brands on us. We will make the choice for home brands if Supermarkets make sure they are a comparable item to another product, but please give us the right to choose by leaving the other item also on the shelves!!!
