Let's have some fun with this - If you could go ANYWHERE in the world for a holiday, regardless of price, where would you go and why?
Pretend you've just won the lottery! Is it warm, cold, scenic or relaxing?

I'd get an accommodation vehicle, e.g. camper van, and travel the Western part of Europe. Start with the UK - ancestors came from there. If I still have the wanderlust, I'd go across to Eastern Europe. Summer in the Northern parts, Winter in the Southern parts. Possibly to Asia - Central Asia interests, eg the Silk Road. Then maybe North America - Canada fascinates. The history of places, scenery; try to get to know the ways of the locals if possible. That's about as far as my adventurousness goes. Perhaps I'd change my mind as time goes on. Who knows.
