Let's have some fun with this - If you could go ANYWHERE in the world for a holiday, regardless of price, where would you go and why?
Pretend you've just won the lottery! Is it warm, cold, scenic or relaxing?

Oh, that's easy - top of my wish-list has ALWAYS been Canada & Alaska !

Both my husband & I dream of touring Canada by train, following the routes by which this spectacular country was settled and stopping over in those beautiful, classic resorts @ Banff, Lake Louise etc. Gold Leaf on the Rocky Mountaineer of course, cameras poised.

Somewhere along the way we'd like to see Niagra from the Canadian side, even possibly manage to cross into USA to meet up with some friends in various states, but Canada, in Autumn with its wondrous colours, stunning scenery and SNOW, followed by a first-class cruise in Alaska is our ABSOLUTE dream holiday, for at least 6 weeks.

Then there's the next on the list - a European river cruise on one of the smaller vessels ........ and back to Ireland .....
