if you could go anywhere in the world for a holiday, regardless of price, where would you go?

Let's have some fun with this - If you could go ANYWHERE in the world for a holiday, regardless of price, where would you go and why?
Pretend you've just won the lottery! Is it warm, cold, scenic or relaxing?

3146bj says: Almost any rural village or hamlet in France. Enjoy the fabulous buildings, the sheer history of the place, the wonderful regional day-to-day food and drink (not the over-rated haute cuisine of Paris and major cities), and the friendliest, most helpful people you will ever meet. And when they find out you are from Australia, you become long lost family, even if you don't speak French or absolutely murder it in your attempts to talk to people.
