Do you find using public transport a pleasant way to travel? I love going by tram here in Adelaide, I always find someone to have a chat to. People are generally happy to have a conversation with me. It might be my "silver hair" that makes me seem friendly (which I am) as I have people of all ages starting up a conversation with me nearly every trip. I even had a little girl (about 4 or 5 yrs) - who was dressed as a fairy - say to me that she wasn't a real fairy!! I have chatted with people from many different countires who are holidaying here and have found that most enjoyable. Is it that people find Adelaide a friendly place or is it just me?

I can no longer travel by buses because I have a fear of them. I have been involved in 3 accidents with buses and while the first one was the worst regarding injuries, my second affected me physocologically. I was under a physcologist for 15 months before I could ride buses confidently. By my third accident, I just cant handle the thought of getting on a bus at all. Now all my friends say they would never travel with me on a bus because I am jinxed.
