Do you find using public transport a pleasant way to travel? I love going by tram here in Adelaide, I always find someone to have a chat to. People are generally happy to have a conversation with me. It might be my "silver hair" that makes me seem friendly (which I am) as I have people of all ages starting up a conversation with me nearly every trip. I even had a little girl (about 4 or 5 yrs) - who was dressed as a fairy - say to me that she wasn't a real fairy!! I have chatted with people from many different countires who are holidaying here and have found that most enjoyable. Is it that people find Adelaide a friendly place or is it just me?

I doubt if you would feel the same when you're in Melbourne.. First of all the whole transportation system is a huge mess.. not enough trains for some area around Melb. Often delayed and not according to scheduled time. And to top it all off every year they increase the price of the tickets' fare!
