Hi Cat, I think it is probably that you have an approachable, non-threatening look about you, but also I am sure Adelaide is a friendly place! I recently was taken by a friend on the train from Papatoetoe to Auckland, as she has the Gold Card that allows free off peak travel for seniors (which I will be in a few months!). I thoroughly enjoyed it as it is a welcome break from driving the car through the thousands of people using the motorways. I loved it and will be doing it again as often as I can, most people had someone with them they were chatting away to, as I was, but the staff on the train were also very ready to stop and have a friendly word. It was a lovely experience and made me think that there are a lot of things going for us seniors! Yay for the silver hair.
