New car are slowly coming onto the market. Alot of testing is done before any new model is released which is usual 3 years before release of model. We now have electric cars like the volt on the Australian market but car manufactures are curently looking at hydrogen powered cars currently overseas. You also need to know the amount of government red tape to go threw before it is given the ok to be released especially all the ADR requirements. i should know as I haveworked in the car industry for the last 47 years
